Founder, CEO and Shareholder- Christopher Herbert
Since retiring after a 40-year career in property and sports management, Chris has written four literary family drama novels in the series “Gifted.” A quintessential Australian story. The first is scheduled for publication soon, but he has secured advance sales from a major U.S. bookstore chain. Chris and Mike have known each other for most of their corporate lives and have shared experiences over that time. BOS was born from their own experiences navigating the independent author landscape — the good, the bad, and the unseemly. It was from talking to them that we began to build BOS.
Further adding to his experience, following the Christchurch earthquakes in 2011, Chris was appointed by Creative NZ to advise on the restoration of damaged arts infrastructure and to connect the arts community with private-sector support opportunities. This five-year experience gave him a close view of how fragile creative ecosystems can be when incentives are misaligned, of the plight of many indie authors, and of how powerful they can be when trust, accountability, and shared values are present.
Founding Shareholder and Financial Advisor- Matt Golding
Matt is the founder and owner of the financial services firm Future Wealth, which has grown significantly over the last few years. He is seeking a business he can develop globally, and he believes BOS is that business.
